During the pandemic, I took up interest in capturing regular photos of the cruise ships anchored off Torbay and Lyme Bay in South Devon. The huge liners were out of business following the COVID-19 outbreak but proved to be an extraordinary spectacle to witness.
Ships 'parked' off Torbay and Lyme Bay included Cunard's Queen Mary 2, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth. P&O's Arcadia, Ventura, Aurora and Azura. TUI's Marella Explorer 1 & 2 and Marella Discovery. Holland America Line's Zaandam, Volendam, Westerdam, Eurodam, Oosterdam and the Nieuw Statendam. Carnival's Carnival Magic, Carnival Valor and Carnival Breeze. And Princess Cruises enormous Emerald Princess, Regal Princess & Sky Princess ships.
